Kayla…

While in Atlanta, I got the chance to visit with a very dear friend, my maid of honor,? as well as her baby girl.? I didn’t forget about you Doug (Dundalk). ? This was my first time truly meeting Kayla and since momma has a birthday coming up, why not give the gift that I know best, photos :) ?? I wish her brother was here for it, but he still has a couple more weeks to chill in the belly.

Have you ever been down south?? There is a town called Peachtree City in which it is common to find golf carts not only driving in their own lane on the side of the road, but they actually have their own parking in certain malls.? We stopped for pizza in PT City and I had to snap a photo of this cart parked in the lot.

Learnfest…

Last week I hoped the smallest plane I have ever been on, and headed? down south to Atlanta for the most fantastic workshop.?? The instructors were some of the best photogs in the country, and my fellow classmates were just top notch people. ? The ideas and information I took in was very over whelming, but I can’t wait to start implementing it into my business.? For now,? I am going to start with some photos from my trip.

If I ever see a plane like this again, I am running, running very very fast.

Ok, after hanging with Audrey for 3 days, I all of a sudden got totally star stuck.? Audrey is super fantastic.? I won’t mention her celebrity client names, but lets just say one had a really high profile divorce and now has several adopted children with another famous celebrity :)

Kids Expo-Day 2

It has been a WEEK since my last post.??? Thank you for being patient with me.? Some of you know I spent all of last weekend shooting the Kids Expo in Poughkeepsie. Then at 6am Monday I hopped, what I would consider the scariest plane ride of my life, and head down to Atlanta for a? FANTASTIC Workshop.? I get into the workshop a little later, now it is time for catch up.

Sunday was day 2 of the Kids Expo.? This was a very fun day that included the Expo Parade as well as performances by the Skyriders! The main sponsors of this event was IBM, and I have to say their Expo team had a great set up and busted their tail!

I’m Back…

I am officially back in the office, aka living room :) ?? I had a fantastic trip to Atlanta and I can’t wait to share some images.? Once I get caught up on some emails, phone calls and business, I will update the blog with some great photos :)

Kids Expo, Day 1

Wow, it was a bit chilly outside today.? It’s even chillier out when you are driving around P-town on a golf-cart.? But, it was fun :) ? I spent most of the day today at the Mid Hudson Children’s Museum where I got to see Dog on Fleas perform. How fun where they!? I had a blast watching all the kids dancing on the side stage.? You would think that 4 inch stage was toddler training for stage diving and mosh pit.?? It got a little crazy in there, and of course my kiddies were amongst them.

Speaking of crazy, my booth was busier than I ever expected. In fact, by the end of the day I almost ran out of crafts.? I can’t express how much I appreciate Jenn and all of her great work today!

So, What Are You Doing This Weekend…

For me, I feel like it is more like, what am I “NOT” doing this weekend.? Most of the weekend you will find me at the Kids Expo.? As an official sponsor and photographer, I will be there for the whole weekend covering the event. For those attending, be sure to swing by my booth for some crafts.? Especially those on my Facebook Group who scored themselves some free tickets!? Also keep your eye out for me.? I will be the one with the big momma camera!

As soon as I get home, I will be gearing up for my trip to Atlanta.? I will be participating in a fantastic workshop and rubbing elbows with some of the best photogs in the country.? Yes, leaving the house at 4 am for a 6 am flight is not going to be fun, but Chateau Elan doesn’t look like too shabby of a place ;)

I will try to post some pictures from the Kids Expo this weekend, but after being gone all day, I am not sure my family will let me near the comupter ;) ?? If I don’t get to post in the next couple of days, have a great week and I will be back, full of inspiration, some fresh product ideas and some new friends.
