Boys of Summer…

And we finally had a Wednesday evening without rain, so we got to head out to hubby’s softball game.? I normally don’t bring the big momma camera with me, but I just had this urge to be a little creative tonight. Rather than shoot through my view finder, I just pointed my camera and shot.? No peaking, just point it up, down, left, right and click. It was fun little creative challenge for myself.

Babies Babies Babies…

For the 2nd day in the row, I was thrilled to get to shoot another newborn boy and his big sister.?? I originally photographed big sister when she was only weeks old, and today I got to visit her new home and meet her precious baby brother.?? It is weekends like this that I realize how fast time goes by and how much I love my job of capturing such important moments.

I couldn’t think of a more wonderful couple, so hubby and I are just beyond trilled for them.? Big sister, aka Little Miss Fairy, was beyond a doll.? I couldn’t get enough of her and wanted to bring her home with me.? She was full of hugs for me and kisses for her little brother.? Happy sigh…..

Just Enjoying A Summer Day…

With the rain being such a downer this summer, I wanted to brighten up the day a little.? The boys and I headed out this morning to a favorite spot in New Paltz, to catch some fresh blooming sunflowers.? I was feeling inspired after one of my favorite photog pals posted some great photos on her blog, HERE. I wish I could find? a field like this, but I will take what I can get.
