A Baby and Her Dogs…

Sweet baby “M” little was born just 2 weeks ago, surprising her family by being born a couple weeks early.? I have to mention, not only do I love? babies, but I love dogs too!? I might have to start doing pet portraits more often, like my girl Bev Hol lis, who just rocks it!?? When I arrived to this families home, I was greeted by big brother Jack and big sister Jesse, two super sweet greyhounds.? I could have played with them all day.? They supervised as little M worked her stuff for me.? I am sure she is now enjoying a little bit of a break from visitors and the lady with the big ol’ camera in her face, and enjoying a little peace time with her proud mommy and daddy.

Thank You!!!!!!

I can’t thank you all enough who showed up for the Grand Opening party last night. I saw a lot of familiar faces and met a lot of new ones.? I am guessing we had about 75 people in and out through out the night. There was so many people, I barely had time to took any pictures. ? 50 you took home a nice little swag bags and many of you took advantage of? booking a session at the party, and took home? nice print bonus.? I truly can’t thank you all enough for showing your love and support. And although I did not have time to speak to everyone personally, it really meant the world to me to have you all there.? I also want to thank those of you who brought me presents! WOW, that was so unexpected.? Plants, flowers, wine, and champagne, how nice.? My good friend Dallas gave me a mini Buddha, Ganesha, who’s “grace is invoked before any new venture, for it is believed that he will remove all obstacles, material and spiritual, and bring success.” He will find a nice home in my studio.

Again, thank you for coming last night and to those who sent me their virtually well wishes!

Best Dressed…

Yesterday I got to meet with this beautiful family up in the Rhinebeck area.? I absolutely loved the kids outfits and accessories, good job Mom! ? We found a great new location, which I am going to keep a secret , that offered fantastic grounds, lovely views and lots of texture.? Miss “A” really knew how to work the camera.? I think she stayed up late watching “Models of the Runway,” or “America’s Next Top Model,” the night before.? She was too sweet!

Little “C” man has a fantastic little smile and the cutest curly hair.? He was a little shy with me in the beginning but lucky for me, I can play a mean game of Peek-A-Boo, and I won him over.?? They were all a joy to photograph and little “C” earned his goldfish!

Talk About Having Your Hands Full…

How lucky am I to get to shoot 2 sets of TRIPLETS in one summer.? The last time I photographed this family is when all the babies just arrived home from the NICU.? Now they are toddlers and run circles around mommy, daddy and big brother.? I have to laugh when I think about setting up for the family shot.? 3 toddlers running in opposite directions and each one of us chasing after them.? When we rounded them all up, they all did their roll and pulled off the shot in less than a minute.? Not bad!? I have to say, one of my favorite things about shooting multiples, is seeing their personalities shine through.? It is so amazing how different each one of them are.

The Third Time Is Always A Charm…

This is the third time in the past two years that I have photographed one of my favorite red heads.? Last weekends rain shower held back our plans to meet, but today made up for it.? It was a tad nippy out this morning, but? I have to say, Miss “V” took the chill better than me.? You might also recognize mommy from our “DragonFly” session a couple months ago.?? I have to thank Miss “V,” mommy, daddy and monkey for such a lovely morning!? I can’t wait until 3!!
