Brother and Sisterly Love…

This past weekend I got to meet up with this sweet dynamic duo.  Mom and I got a little nervous since it was a wee bit chilly outside and how the kids would handle it.  Luckily we found a great in door space to shoot some pictures and then headed to the great outdoors.  These two were such troopers and the cold didn’t bother them a bit.  Big brother was a big ham, making his sister laugh by sticking his tongue out at her.  My favorite moment of the shoot came when brother grabbed sister’s hand and just gave it a sweet little kiss, an image that would  any mother’s heart melt.

Check out some extra images of these beautiful brown eyes on my Facebook Fan Page.

Mr. Tiny…

A few weeks ago you may remember my shoot Maternity On Main Street, well here is the grand debut of baby “E. “  He was actually born days after we took pictures of his parents, making him a tad bit early.  Unfortunately I wasn’t able to meet him at the hospital but I finally got to meet him this past week for his newborn pictures.  He is still a little peanut, but a VERY cute one.  I have to mention, Mr. “E” is the first baby to not pee or poop while naked on one of my blankets, so I love him more for that.

Feature On Best Hudson Valley Weddings Ever…

Last summer I finally started shooting weddings.  I did a small handful of beautiful events from the Bronx, all the way  up  to Boston.   This past week, one of my summer weddings was featured on Best Hudson Valley Weddings Ever!  I was thrilled they picked one of my weddings to feature on my blog.  I hope you will see many more of my weddings there soon this year too.  To check out the article, visit the site HERE!

Celebrity Waiter’s Brunch…

This past Sunday, The Grandview hosted The Celebrity Waiter’s Brunch,  a fundraiser for the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum.  It was a great success with about 150 people in attendance, including 2 of my guests that won tickets on my blog giveaway.  The brunch featured 16 Celebrity Waiters that included the Mayor of Poughkeepsie as well as Woodman of Woodman In The Morning.  The waiters all showed off  their stems in a “Best Legs” contest.  Categories  for best legs included “Smooth as Silk,” “Gorilla Legs,” “Chicken Legs,” “Most Athletic,” and “Best in Show.”  The event, which raised just over $15,000,  was hosted by the talented DJ Bill Beale.  It was an honor to be apart of yet another great Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum event, and I thank them for having me again.

Can’t Get Enough…

A little over a month ago, I was privileged to meet with this “Lovely Little Lady.”   This past weekend I returned to her home to continue  documenting her sweet young life.  We got down on the floor, played some blocks and chilled with the cat.  We did venture outside since it was beyond beautiful outside,  but it was a little bit windy and this lovely little lady wasn’t ready for that.  I look forward to seeing her again soon and hopefully it isn’t as windy.

Split Canvas…

A couple months back I had the pleasure to work with Beth of Elizabeth Boutique, one of my favorite shopping places in Poughkeepsie, and her siblings.  We shot at one of my favorite locations in the City of Poughkeepsie, which I will keep a secret (wink wink).   I always wanted to introduce split canvases, 1 picture split into several canvases,  but needed the perfect image to test it out.   This was one of my favorite pictures from the shoot, and thought it would be the perfect sample image for my split canvas layout.  Want to check it out, well you will have to swing by Elizabeth Boutique.
