Over the River and Through The Woods…

This past weekend I met up with this beautiful family of four on the grounds of their family estate.   The grounds were just gorgeous, there was no questioning why mom and dad got married there 5 years ago.  Sometimes when at such a beautiful location, a photographers mind can go into creative overload.  You want to shoot everywhere, but of course you have to remember you have  work with the time frame of a child’s clock.  They rule when the shoot will start and when it will end.

Being that it was a bit chilly outside, we were lucky to have a nice indoor location to shoot as well, where we could  jump on some beds and play with some trains. My questions is, when can we do it again so we can hit up the other side of the yard? Thanks again!

Kieran…

Today my baby turns 3 years old.  He is the craziest and funniest little dude I know.  He is he life of the party and Mr. Adventure.  How we have not been to the emegency room yet, is beyond me. I love you little man, I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

Sistas…

Back to one of my favorite little towns to meet two beautiful sisters.  There was more a chill in the air with this trip, so yes, Cold Spring was cold.  Although the temperature was a bit low, the energy in these girls was high.  They were ready for some camera action and really hammed it up for me.  Mother nature played a little roll in the shoot with a just of wind came through, blowing through big sisters hair, just a beautiful moment.

Thank you girls for being such great troopers. Mom, your rocked the outfits and Dad, thanks for the coffee!

If you happen to make your way to Cold Spring, be sure to pay tribute to “Jed’s Godzilla”

My Little Pear…

The leaves are beginning to drop to the ground, but luckily we were still able to capture the beauty of fall this weekend when I met up with little “D” and his family.  Normally we end shoots with a snack break, but we began this one with a pear break.  A lot of parents like myself struggle with kids who hate to eat, so seeing little “D” man here asking for and enjoying a piece of fruit, was such a beautiful thing. From what I understand, “D” man is a reserve little man around new people, but he was a charmer with me.  Such a sweet little thing.

I originally met mommy, a beautiful spirit,  a few months back at Waddle n Swaddle where she practices acupuncture.  During the last couple weeks of my pregnancy, I made a visit to her office for treatment.  I have to tell ya, it was the one thing that helped me sleep.

It was great spending a cool fall morning with you all, it would be great to see you in the summer (wink wink)
