Growing Before My Eyes, Hudson Valley Children’s Photographer

This is my fourth time photographing this family.  Our journey started when little Miss “A” was a newborn and our last meeting  being a year ago when Mr “C” was born.  For those of you who have been to my studio, you might recognize little miss “A” who is featured in one my larger wall displays.  Such a cute face!  Recently I got the pleasure of meeting up with them again for a little play time.  Neither one of these two are camera shy that is for sure.  Thank you again “L” family, I look forward to seeing you again!

All Boys, Hudson Valley Children’s Photographer…

Meet a dear friend of mine, who is also the mom of 3 boys  including a set of twins!  We originally met over 5 years ago when our oldest children were babies and we did a mommy and me yoga class together.  She is my go to person when I need a “Mommy’s Night Out” or just need to be around a super cool person.  She is as sweet as it comes and has such a wonderful husband and great group of boys.  I was very excited for this shoot and I had such a great time introducing them to such a great town.

Rain Won’t Stop Me, Hudson Valley Children’s Photographer…

Rain or shine, I am out there.  It seems like non stop rain over the past several weeks but it cleared up just in time to pull off this shoot.  It actually rained on my drive but stopped as I drove into my destination town.  I have to say, I am so glad it did. I had a BLAST photographing these two kids and their parents.  We took off our shoes and even sat down in some puddles.  I have no shame, I don’ t mind getting dirty to pull off a shot!  Mr Man was total Mr GQ and who couldn’t get enough of little Miss’s curls!!!

Ultimate Family, Hudson Valley Engagement Photographer…

Why do I call this couple the “Ultimate Family?”  Well, this is my 3rd time photographing them, and not my last.  A couple years back I was invited by mother of the groom to come to her home for some pictures of her family in front of the fireplace.  It was a cold January day, but I was able to convince them all to go outside and enjoy a good old snow ball fight.  One of my favorite canvases came from this shoot, going back in time:  HERE.  Earlier this year I once again met up with Mom and her youngest son, aka young Ryan Phillippe,  to do some headshots.  I was beyond thrilled when  I heard the oldest son had gotten engaged and they instantly wanted to hire me to shoot their wedding.  It is not only an honor to be chosen to be the photographer for one of the most monumental events in one’s life, but just as much an honor to be considered one’s “Family Photographer.”

I met up with the happy couple, just before the rain hit, at Vanderbilt Mansion.  We got some play time with their cutie pie son and then got some one on one time.  Can you say hello “Beautiful Couple!”  I am very anxious to shoot their wedding this fall, but more anxious to photography their newborn session, one day…. LOL!!!

And Even More Babies, Hudson Valley Newborn Photographer…

Wrapping up my 3rd trip to the maternity ward in 6 days, was this cute little monkey boy.  When I walked into his room for my visit, the VIP party was in full swing.  He was surrounded by family and lots of love.  Again, mommy looked super fantastic for just having a baby and daddy was a lot more comfortable around the camera this time around.  Maybe it was the ray of light in his hands that kept him relaxed.

See you all soon for your newborns!

Babies, Babies, Hudson Valley Newborn Photographer…

The week of the babies continues with this little sweetheart.  You might remember this family’s maternity photos from Mohonk Mountain House a couple weeks back.  Well, baby is here and the light of her mommy’s eye.  Daddy was a complete natural and even sporting the new VIP bracelet that are giving to all the new daddies in the maternity ward.  I heard the after hour parties in the nursery are rockin!

I can’t wait to see little miss again this week for her newborns.
