Birthday Boy…

Yes, I am officially the mother of a 6 year old.  There is nothing that brings me more joy than my children and I can’t believe my baby boy is 6.   It is amazing how much joy and pride his little man brings me everyday. He gave me the strength to follow my dream and become a photographer.    He can run me in circles when he teams up with his brothers, but I can’t imagine my life without him.  Love you little man!

2 Years Later, Hudson Valley Family Photographer…

The return of one of my favorite families.  If you know them, you know they are just too kind and sweet for words.  I had a wonderful afternoon with them this time of year, 2 years ago.  Now we meet again with a sweet baby girl added to the mix.  I had a great morning hanging with this family and I look forward to the day they consider welcoming baby #3  LOL!

This jumping image just kills me!  Cracks me up!

Tiny Tummy, Hudson Valley Materntiy Photographer…

I recently got a phone call from this momma, who is 35 weeks pregnant,  to discuss doing her maternity and newborn photos.  We were cutting it close on time to the baby’s birth but luckily that weekend, I was going to be close to her neck of the woods.   So we were able to meet up after my morning session at one of my favorite coffee spots in Beacon and headed out for a little fun in the shade.  When I first saw this momma to be, the first thing that came to my mind was her size, what at tiny tummy for 35 weeks.  She has a little peanut growing in there.

So I am expecting a phone call any day now, but the way my luck has been running, she might be a week late :) All I know is looking at these two, the baby is going to be super cute and will hopefully have Mommy’s contagious smile.   See you two, or I should say three, soon!!

Boys Will Be Boys, Hudson Valley Children Photographer…

I recently met this mom through a group of friends we both hang with and she had mentioned how she would love to have me photograph her two boys.  If there is anything I know, brothers!  I get plenty of training at home.  I have to thank Mom and Dad for letting me drag them though this crazy old abandoned building.  I love this site and I have to thank another client for introducing it to me :)   Yes, these two were full of boy energy and I have to give Mom lots of props for not freaking out the way I did when a bug started crawling up her leg.

Staatsburgh Farm, Hudson Valley Child Photographer…

Recently I met up with this brother and sister duo on a private far out in Staatsburgh, NY. We shot on a beautiful piece of property owned by a 92 year old woman, who is still out everyday caring for her gardens and riding her horses.  I look at these two kids and wished I had their energy, and then I looked at this 92 year old woman and hope that when I reach her age, I have her energy as well.

Sweetness Continues, Hudson Valley Newborn Photographer…

My week of newborn boys continues with this ball of sweetness.  He came a tad late and since I was on vacation, I didn’t get to see him in the hosptial.  As soon as I returned I zipped right down in his house to have some playtime.  He is a super cute little peanut with a great head of hair and he was too easy to work with.
