All Boys, Hudson Valley Newborn-Child Photographer…

I recently got to hang with this family in their beautiful farm home, and have a playdate with their sweet little boys.  Hanging with blue eyed little boys, sounds like my house.

The Story of Oliver, Hudson Valley Maternity Photographer…

Yes, looking at momma you would never have guessed she was very pregnant with baby boy #2.  She looked amazing in both her jeans and all dressed up.  I never had such formal attire so I thank them letting me to do my “Housewives of Dutchess County” family photo :)

Brandy and Art, Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer…

The back story to my union with this couple:  I grew up in small town Rockville, Connecticut where my mom watched kids from her home.  30 years later, my mom is on Facebook and sees her friend’s son, whom she use to sit for, is now engaged and living in Poughkeepsie.  My mom being the proud momma she is, says hey “My daughter is a wedding photographer in Poughkeepsie, give her a call.”  So 30 years after originally meeting in small town Rockvillle, we meet again in Poughkeepsie.  Not only did we once live in the same small town, he also works with my husband.  Kind of crazy huh!

For those of you who are foodies, like I am trying to be, you must check out Brandy’s blog, Nutmeg Nanny, which now has me craving no bake chocolate biscoff cookies right now. And thank you to  Crave, who will be catering Brandy and Art’s wedding, for letting us shoot in their restaurant.   Can’t wait to eat at…..errrr photography this shin-dig!

The Story of Matthew, Hudson Valley Maternity Photographer…

I was so excited when this couple contacted me about photographing their maternity/newborn session. I have known them through  friends for quite a few years and we share a mutual love, Hawaii.  You couldn’t ask to work with a sweeter couple.  Laura has a contagious smile and laugh that just makes you happy.  Almost as happy as shooting by Corisno Cakes which was kind enough to open for us to score some cupcakes!
