Friend of A Friend, Hudson Valley Family Photographer…

I met this family through the referral of a mutual friend.  I have been photographing a couple of mom’s friends for years, and finally she has joined the SP club!  An afternoon with a couple of brothers, that is something I can handle.  I have to give the boys a lot of credit, we shot and hung out for a while for the lighting to change and they held it together great.  Boys will be boys and they of course goofed off, but who doesn’t like being a bit goofy.

Hello Again, Hudson Valley Child Photographer…

I absolutely love it when my clients bring back my newborns so I can see how they have grown up.  Whether it is one or two years later, it is such a joy to watch them grow.  This little sweetie kept me on the move and even put on a little piano show.  If you look closely, yes she is kicking her stool back, channeling her inner Jerry Lee Lewis.  And of course, I can’t get enough playtime with puppy dog.  She was running laps around us for an hour straight.  I am sure both girls took a nice nap on the ride home.

Tree Hugger, Orange County Newborn Photographer…

The weather was perfect this afternoon when we photographed this sweet little boy.   We drew a bit of  a crowd while outside getting little Mr. comfy on the fur.  Apparently it isn’t everyday you see a baby on a tree stump  LOL!

Bridal Baby, Hudson Valley Maternity Photographer…

Yes, my first post wedding baby!!!   When I photographed this couples wedding, I was 8 months pregnant with Clinton.  Now here we are, and rolls are reversed.  And anyone who knows this couple, knows they will ROCK parenthood and I am sure baby will be a really cute one.  We will see very soon!  And thank you to Scott and Margaret for entertaining me by trekking out to this tree I just had to shoot in front of.

Love These Kids, Dutchess County Children Photographer…

This isn’t my first run with this crew.  We have a history that goes way back.  But the last time was when little man was born, and that was the day I discovered the Knapp Sack.  We were able to dodge a rain storm that day, of course when didn’t it rain in August? And we managed a shoot on the docks without any kids, or myself, falling into the Hudson LOL!  I can’t share my favorite picture just yet, holiday’s are coming and we have a surprise for a certain someone special.

Return of My Favorite Redhead, Hudson Valley Child Photographer…

So yes, major set backs over here thanks to Miss Irene and the stealing of my power for WAY too long.  I am defiantly not a contestant for SURVIVOR.  I can’t even deal with having no access to the outside world or the internet. Yes, I love my modern technology.

A couple weeks ago, when the weather was rockin, I met up with my favorite redhead who defenatly challanged me in a creative way I really needed.  I tend to avoid certain shooting locations, due to overuse syndrome.  I am always out for new locations but when my clients insist on an old spot, I need to challenge myself t make it new to me.  And Miss V, thank you for that challenge, I needed it more than I knew.  I can’t wait for my next challenge!
