Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude and appreciation for what we have, and those who are special to us.  It is a time in which most families, near and far, come together to celebrate a special feast.  This Thanksgiving, the “S” family came together to not only enjoy a dinner, but also to spoil a special little girl with lots of love.  She was certainly the center of attention and very much the apple of Grandma’s eyes.  I hope little Miss and her parents had a safe ride home to Maryland.

This weekend I got to meet up with a fun  family up in the Red Hook area.  They brought me to a great new location with beautiful grounds and lots of running space.  There, the kiddies played a mean game of hide and go seek, jumped off rocks, and ran the hills.  Little man took a little time warming into me, but lucky for me we have something in common, DINOSAURS!  My 4 year old has taught me more about Dinosaurs, which came in handy today.  And little Miss was ultra stylish in her great little sweater and knit hat.  Does that sweater come in my size?

They said it, not me ? When driving to this shoot yesterday morning, I started thinking how cool it would be to move the family couch outside on to their beautiful farm.? I totally thrilled when Dad was completely into it and not only took the couch outside, but way out into the cow pasture.??? They, the cows, were watching us with close eyes, not too sure what was going on.?? I have to say, mom is a dear friend of mine and it is so wonderful to see her kids grow and watch her family expand.? It is also wonderful to see the development of their organic farm in Gardiner, Brookside Farm.
