If you recall, I photographed these parents to be a couple weeks back. She had the tiniest and cutest baby belly ever. Now, little man is here and he is just a sweet as can be. I can’t get enough of little hands, little toes, and that little nose.

This is the last shoot in our series of 3, with with baby “N,” and our journey of documenting his welcoming into this world. I truly hope this is not the last of our visits since he is just the sweetest little thing, plus I can’t get enough of his mommy. Our emails going back and forth had e me laughing so hard, I had stitches in my side.
So for now, this is not goodbye little baby “N,” it is see you soon!
My recent track record for all momma’s is pretty much, you are going to go late. Last year if I did maternity photos, you either went early or on time. This year, at least a week late. My apologies especially in this summer heat. I think it’s me. My little Clinton went a week late after my first 2 were 3.5 and 2 weeks early. This has rubbed off onto all my momma’s.
This momma was no exception, she too went late. Of course, all babies are well worth it! This little guy was just perfect and LOVED having his picture taken. His newborn session was no exception either, more to come.
Here’s to a new family!
Recently I visited West Point to hang with a momma to be and her daughter for a big surprise for Daddy. Right now, Daddy is overseas defending our country and his return is eagerly awaited back at home in the states. Momma is expecting baby girl number two and wanted to show off how great she looks and how fast “Cindy Lou Who” is growing.
There is nothing like an afternoon at West Point. I have been there many of times, and I never get over the beauty of the grounds, the history, and the slightly intimidating presence of the military personnel there. It’s like a small city all within the walls. Being that the hospital is right on site, momma could walk there if she wanted. Thanks again for a lovely morning and I hope this was a great surprise for Daddy!
I love her sassy side
Yes, the blog has been very neglected over the past couple ofweeks. Not only have I been super busy with shoots, but my 3 little men have kept me on the run as well. So my apologizes on the delayed blog posting, I have so much to share, just need to make the time.
This momma and I met on a HOT summer day a couple weeks back. I have to give her credit for holding up as well as she did. I was exhausted from the heat and not only did she keep herself up, she looked fabulous doing it as well. I am looking forward to meeting the new man in her life very soon.
I recently got a phone call from this momma, who is 35 weeks pregnant, to discuss doing her maternity and newborn photos. We were cutting it close on time to the baby’s birth but luckily that weekend, I was going to be close to her neck of the woods. So we were able to meet up after my morning session at one of my favorite coffee spots in Beacon and headed out for a little fun in the shade. When I first saw this momma to be, the first thing that came to my mind was her size, what at tiny tummy for 35 weeks. She has a little peanut growing in there.
So I am expecting a phone call any day now, but the way my luck has been running, she might be a week late
All I know is looking at these two, the baby is going to be super cute and will hopefully have Mommy’s contagious smile. See you two, or I should say three, soon!!
