Part 2 of my shoot with Hudson Valley Magazine. The editors found a gem of a location when they discovered Darkside Records and Gallery. Locate on Main Street, Poughkeepsie, this place is a must see for any music lover. I also bought a dinosaur print off the wall for Brayden’s birthday.

Ummm, holy dream come true, shooting the Fall Fashion Preview for Hudson Valley Magazine. This was my first editorial and what an honor of it be included with this talented team, including my girls from Bella Luci Salon. I will admit, the night before I was so nervous I could barely sleep. It didn’t take too long for me to get into my groove and we started rocking it out. Yes, I could do this again. Not too much really beats seeing your name in print.

I am so excited to announce that Surprise Photography has been featured in the Design Aglow “Creative Posing Guide For Brides,” Inspire Me Cards. Over a 1,000 photos were entered, 82 were chosen and 2 were mine! The list of photographers featured in this publication are just amazing artiest and I am grateful and honored to be included with them. I hope this product will be a great source of inspiration for wedding photographers across the country. Thank you DA!!

Recently a doula friend of mine, Sandy Trimarchi, was interviewed by Hudson Valley Magazine for an article on “Hudson Valley Salaries 2010.” She called me up and asked me if I wouldn’t mind shooting her photo for the article. Hummmmm, YAY!!!
Of course this was all done very last minutes so we were scrambling to get the shoot done with one nights notice, but I think we got a great shot. Although it isn’t the main image, we did get a photo on the cover of the magazine as well as a full page spread. Thanks to baby Clinton (green diaper), baby Griffin, aka baby Waddle n Swaddle, and Cole for helping us out with model duties. And thanks to Hudson Valley Magazine for letting us be apart of their December issue. Can’t wait to do it again.
