Angus and Jennifer Are Married, Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer…

Finally, Rudy’s parents are legit!!  For those of you not familiar with Rudy, peek HERE.   There was NO doubt that the day was HOT, nothing went off 100% on the timeline, but I can say, the day was wonderful, the bride was gorgeous and the party was on!!    The wedding itself itself took place at Marist College, where the bride is an alumni.  Prior to the wedding, we hit up the groom’s alma mater, The CIA for their first look.  There is nothing better on one’s wedding day, than to see the look on the bride and groom as they see their spouse to be for the first time.  When Angus looked at Jenn, you can tell she took his breath away.

The reception took place at Rolling Greens at Dutchess Golf and Country Club, in Poughkeepsie.  It was my first time there, and I can’t wait to go back.  They treated me like gold so I can only imagine how well they treated the bridal party.

Congratulations again to Angus and Jennifer, all the best wishes to you and your life together in Atlanta!!

Jenn and Ryan E-Session, Connecticut Wedding Photographer…

I am super excited about working with this couple.  Not only because they are so darn cute together but because I went to college with the bride.  I spent 4 years with her at Southern and now I get to be with her as she celebrates such an important day in her life.  For their engagement shoot, we met up in a special town to them.  After 90 minutes of back road driving from NY to CT, I finally arrived in Litchfield, CT and was instantly in love.  I could shoot here all day.   This was the type of town where everyone says hello and and go away for a week, leaving their front doors unlocked.   It had such a warm and wonderful community feel.

Thank you Jenn and Ryan for trusting me with such a job and I look forward to October!

SAVE THE DATE

Ultimate Family, Hudson Valley Engagement Photographer…

Why do I call this couple the “Ultimate Family?”  Well, this is my 3rd time photographing them, and not my last.  A couple years back I was invited by mother of the groom to come to her home for some pictures of her family in front of the fireplace.  It was a cold January day, but I was able to convince them all to go outside and enjoy a good old snow ball fight.  One of my favorite canvases came from this shoot, going back in time:  HERE.  Earlier this year I once again met up with Mom and her youngest son, aka young Ryan Phillippe,  to do some headshots.  I was beyond thrilled when  I heard the oldest son had gotten engaged and they instantly wanted to hire me to shoot their wedding.  It is not only an honor to be chosen to be the photographer for one of the most monumental events in one’s life, but just as much an honor to be considered one’s “Family Photographer.”

I met up with the happy couple, just before the rain hit, at Vanderbilt Mansion.  We got some play time with their cutie pie son and then got some one on one time.  Can you say hello “Beautiful Couple!”  I am very anxious to shoot their wedding this fall, but more anxious to photography their newborn session, one day…. LOL!!!

Robert & Cristina E-Session, Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer…

I recently met up with Robert and Cristina in Central Park for their engagement session.  I have to say, my clients are picking some great spots to do their shoots.  Not that Central Park hasn’t seen its share photoshoots, but for me, it is a new playground.  It was my first time really getting to walk around in the park, never mind shooting there.  The day was beyond gorgeous and everyone was out enjoying the weather, including like 10,000 bikers.  One of my favorite shots of the day is the first one below, you would never have guessed there were thousands of bikers right behind me.

We still have some time till their nuptials next year, but for friends of  Robert and Cristina: April 28th, 2012, SAVE THE DATE.
