This picture says it all and not sure I will ever pull it off again…

I met this family through the referral of a mutual friend.  I have been photographing a couple of mom’s friends for years, and finally she has joined the SP club!  An afternoon with a couple of brothers, that is something I can handle.  I have to give the boys a lot of credit, we shot and hung out for a while for the lighting to change and they held it together great.  Boys will be boys and they of course goofed off, but who doesn’t like being a bit goofy.

Hello Again, Hudson Valley Child Photographer…

I absolutely love it when my clients bring back my newborns so I can see how they have grown up.  Whether it is one or two years later, it is such a joy to watch them grow.  This little sweetie kept me on the move and even put on a little piano show.  If you look closely, yes she is kicking her stool back, channeling her inner Jerry Lee Lewis.  And of course, I can’t get enough playtime with puppy dog.  She was running laps around us for an hour straight.  I am sure both girls took a nice nap on the ride home.

You might remember this beautiful couple from their engagement shoot at the Brooklyn Bridge earlier this year.  Well, only months later they were married in a beautiful, multi-faith ceremony in East Hanover, NJ.  The bride was just stunning, resembling Carrie Underwood, in her Enzoani dress and hot red shoes. This couple did their first look at a lovely park, where apparently a lot of brides and grooms like to do their photos.  It was a tad humorous for everyone when one of the other wedding parties was wearing the same bridesmaid color, obviously a great choice.

Thank you Lauren and Scott for trusting me with such and important day, and thank you to Jeff and Kim for sending them my way.  I truly felt like a family member that day, and it was great to finally meet some of my Facebook Fan Page stalkers.

Two nights before the big storm hit, I got to enjoy a wonderful evening with this family to be. We hit up the CIA but there were no cupcakes or Anthony Bourdain in sight.  Apparently we missed the closing of the cafe by like 2o minutes. Like seriously,  don’t mess with a pregnant lady or photographer who are hungry.  I did send this couple to check out one of my favorite places in the Hudson Valley, who ended up hooking me up with some great food for my son’s 1st birthday party, Soul Dog.

Looking forward to meeting baby soon!!!

The weather was perfect this afternoon when we photographed this sweet little boy.   We drew a bit of  a crowd while outside getting little Mr. comfy on the fur.  Apparently it isn’t everyday you see a baby on a tree stump  LOL!
