A Race To Baby…

I first chatted with this momma to be, a couple of months ago when she called about me doing her maternity/newborn photos.  I loved our conversation the phone, she sounded fun and sweet, but then asked her her due date.  To find out, she is due a week before me.  I questioned whether or not I could do this, but she talked me into it. And I am so glad she did.  These two are just a fantastic and lovely couple, I had a great time hanging with them this weekend.   I told her, maybe we will have our babies at the same time and I can waddle down from my hospital room to hers to do baby photos.  So the race is on,  who will deliver first?

Great spot but a little high off the ground, how about a boost.

At Last…

After almost 2 years of emails, I finally had the privilege to meet with this family this past weekend.  And even after a long wait, we almost had to wait even longer because of the weather.  Lucky for us we were able to make it work, and just in time.  With the final click of the shutter, the rain came down and it came down hard.  I was very excited about shooting at this location too.  I have been wanting to go there for sometime now, but don’t find myself in that area very often.

I had a lot of fun with this family, and I can’t wait to see mommy again when she is a bridesmaid in a wedding I am shooting this fall.

Miss New Jersey…

Yesterday Mother Nature once again heard my pleas, and held out on the rain.  So far this year she has been good to me, knock on wood, and I really needed it Saturday since this sweet family came up from New Jersey to hang with me for the morning.   Little Miss “E” was just super cute and daddy did a great job dancing and while mommy and I sang a chorus of Music Together songs.  All together we kept this sweet little one was well entertained.  Not like she really needed it, she was so good that our shoot was over in no time!

It was wonderful to meet this family and I am so flattered that they came to NY to see me. I hope they enjoyed the rest of their visit here and I will see you all in a few weeks!

We Meet Again…

Although he was not a newborn when we first met, Mr “G,” he was a young 3 months old.  I have a special attachment  to babies that I photograph at such a young age and I am privileged to watch them grow over the years.  It makes me realize how fast time goes by and how important pictures are in capturing special moments to hold onto forever.  Thanks again “G” and I can’t wait to see you again!

Tot Trends Weekly Cover…

I am excited to finally show off my picture on the cover of Tot Trends Weekly Magazine, an online magazine the features products made in the USA.  I love the magazine for finding hot and trendy new products for my little ones. I have submitted photos in the past, but this time they emailed me and saw this image of little Miss “Z” on my Mother’s Day Mini sessions feature, and asked if they could put it on their cover.  I don’t blame them for wanting it, she is a darling little thing.
