Kelly and Jonathan’s Engagement Shoot, Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer…

A couple weeks ago I met up with Kelly and Jonathan for their engagement shoot at the Newburgh Brewing Company.  Umm, beer and photos = a good time.   I originally met Kelly when I did her boudoir photos, a little gift for her hubby to be.  We completely hit it off and when she started planning her wedding, I’m so honored I was on the top of her list of wedding photographers to hire.  I was thrilled to find out they are getting married at the Log Cabin in Massachusetts, that’s where I married my husband 10 years ago.   I think Kelly and I get along so well since we’re both loud and love to laugh.  I really can’t wait for their wedding day!

Thank you to the Newburgh Brewing Company for being an awesome host and letting us shoot there.  Hubby was happy I brought him home a goodie bag, aka growler.

Devon & Mark Are Married, Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer…

This summer I had the thrill of photographing the wedding of Devon and Mark.  Besides the fact they were a fun and laid back couple, my favorite part of working with them is that they pretty much let me do what ever I wanted, creatively.  Even if that meant a little minor trespassing :) The day started off a little on the stormy side, but as the bride dressed, the rain stopped and the rest of the day was pretty much perfect.  Thank you again Mark and Devon for allowing me the honor of photographing your special day!

Best Of The Hudson Valley, Hudson Valley Child Photographer…

The “Best of” always features the most fabulous types of food, drink and shopping in the Vally.  However, the arts are very under represented on the ballot.

This year I am really pushing to get more artists recognized fortheir contribution to the Valley.   Although there is no official ballot option, there is a “Fill in your own category”  slot.

I would love for you to consider filling in that slot with:

Surprise Photography, Best Children’s Portrait Photographer

I would be HONORED to be the first in this catagory, and would have to celebrate with my clients in a big way!!!

Back To The Orchard, Hudson Valley Child Photographer…

I am finally back from vacation and back on the blog.  Since I last blogged,  T-ball and school came to an end and my family just got back from vacation. The time to blog was just not there.  Now that we are back, I am  playing the catch up game.

Before I left, I met with this super fantastic family.  We started off with a little play time in their back yard and then headed over to one of my favorite locations, Lawrence Farms Orchards. Normally I am only here during the fall season so it was nice and refreshing to be there during strawberry picking season.  Like the strawberries, this little miss was nice and sweet!

Surprise Photography, Best of 2010

Digging through my three different hard drives, I 1) can’t believe how fast this year went by and 2) feel so luck to have had such a wonderful year. Each year seems to get bigger and better, I hope this never ends.
